Why you Should Truly Be Yourself

You are the most important person in your life. Nobody knows you more than you. Not your mother, father, sister, brother, lover, or dog. It’s more important than ever for you to truly love yourself, and be yourself.

It’s extremely likely that you’ve heard something like this before, maybe from a loved one, or even in the workplace. What hasn’t been mentioned is how people will genuinely like you more if you live as the person you know best.

Everybody wants to be liked by others. The part of this concept that is constantly changing is when people literally try anything to accomplish that goal.

Some people will go out of their way to change who they are. They may take interest in something they may never have liked before, or even make the effort to learn something entirely new, just to impress others.

Then there’s the completely opposite side of the spectrum. Those that will never make an effort to impress or bait anyone into liking them. They may even go above and beyond to push others away.

The question really becomes, who do YOU want to be?

That also opens up an entirely new set of questions to ponder:
